●TOILETOWA Winner – 2025 JIA Environmental Architecture Award (Excellence Award)
Our bio-toilet TOILETOWA, designed and supervised by our studio, has received the Excellence Award at the 26th JIA Environmental Architecture Awards (2025).
Less than 10㎡ in size, TOILETOWA fully purifies and circulates wastewater through the power of microorganisms, questioning the relationship between architecture, humans, nature, and the forest.
We are deeply grateful to our client Ishizaka Sangyo and all collaborators.
The facility is scheduled to open to the public later this year.
